Hi, I'm Alex! I am currently in a doctoral program in English at Fordham University in New York City. 

I have taught a variety of courses in composition, rhetoric, and literature. I am also writing a dissertation that explores representations of sports and games such as hunting, jesting, and dancing in early modern literature by Shakespeare, Ben Jonson, and John Day.

In addition to my teaching and research, I work as a part-time advisor for our University's Office of Prestigious Awards & Fellowships. I enjoy helping students and applicants develop their writing skills, academic interests, and self-confidence.
